State Pension rates 2026/27, and the April 2027 projection
Weekly rates in force from 6 April 2026, confirmed by DWP on 26 November 2025. All rose 4.8%, the earnings element of the triple lock.

April 2027: what the triple lock points to
pending The triple lock raises the State Pension each April by the highest of earnings growth (May to July, published September), CPI inflation (September, published October) or 2.5%.

- September 2026 CPI: published 21 October 2026
- Floor: 2.5%
If earnings stays the highest, the full new State Pension goes from £241.30 to about £250.70 a week in April 2027, roughly £488 a year. DWP confirms the figure in its uprating statement, expected around the Budget on 28 October 2026. We will update this page and email alert subscribers the same day.
